Caroline (Paventi) Stagnitta's Obituary
Caroline (Paventi) Stagnitta, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Solvay, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances Paventi. Caroline was a communicant of First Christian Assembly Church. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Caroline was a very special person that was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario Stagnitta in 2004; her brother, Fred Paventi and her sister, Mindy Chiavara. Caroline is survived by her two sons, Carmen (Joyce) Stagnitta and Nicholas Stagnitta; a daughter, Fran Stagnitta; three grandchildren, Mark (Tabatha), Anne Marie (Greg) and Mary (John); six great-grandchildren, Alex, Troy, Lizzie, Jessica, Ryan and Evan. sister-in-law, Mary Popple along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service in celebration of Caroline's life will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
