To Aunt Carolyn's Family, my sincerest condolences.
Life is precarious; sometimes unpredictable. We can't change the past; however, we can try to alter the future. Moving back to Syracuse in 2010 after 55 years was a blessing to me in all respects. I got a chance to renew relationships with friends and family, amongst those, Aunt Carolyn. Three weeks ago my sister Suzanne and I got to visit with her at The Cottages. We had such a nice talk. Her humor was delightful! So thankful we were given our last chance to be with her.
Jimmie and Carole and families - thank you for sharing your mom with us during our LeMoyne days and so many times since then. May your fondest memories give you more warmth and laughter than tears. Keeping you all in our prayers. Jane and Mark Backus and family

When I hear Aunt Carolyn's name, my first thought goes to her and my grandma making pizzas for the birthday and asking every year what temperature to set the ovens on. Then, we would hear her yelling or cheering while the Yankees were on. She was a very loving and caring woman, and boy could she bake. She will be greatly missed. I hope you are making pizzas with my grandma again. Love you.
