Carrol Ann (Romano) Licitra's Obituary
Carrol Ann (Romano) Licitra, 85, of Temecula, CA, passed away April 20, 2019 in Riverside, CA. She was born in Syracuse, NY on December 1, 1933, daughter of Nicholas and Mary Romano. Carrol graduated from North High School in 1952. She married Frank Licitra, May 23, 1959. The Licitras moved to California in 1969.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1988; her parents, and three brothers, Nicholas Romano, Jr., Paul (Peggy) Romano, and Michael Romano. She is survived by her daughter, Maribeth (Mike) Simonson of Murrieta, CA; son, David (Reina) Licitra of Nuevo, CA; grandchildren, Matt (Sarah) East, Kimber Licitra, Giovanni Licitra, Evan Thomas; brother, John (Barbara) of N. Syracuse; sister, Ginny Romano (Larry) Driscoll of Auburn, NY; sister-in-law, Gerda Romano of Syracuse, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carrol was interred May 8, 2019 at Riverside National Military Cemetery next to her husband, Frank.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Carrol's life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 South Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. A reception will follow Mass in the parish hall.
