Catherine (Caterina) DiFlorio's Obituary
Caterina DiFlorio of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Born in Paglieta, Italy Sept. 11, 1934 to Maria Canzanella Iacobucci and Armando Cianci.
She is predeceased by her husband, Panfilo (Paul) DiFlorio (1998) also born in Paglieta, Italy. Caterina is survived by 3 children; Tony (Marianne) DiFlorio, Diana (Ray) Card, and Gloria (Bill) Whittemore; 6 grandchildren; Shannon and Brandon Card, Roseanne, Anthony, and Christopher DiFlorio, and Billy Whittemore. Also survived by her sister, Anna Maria Bada of Toronto, two brothers, Nicola Cianci of Toronto, and Vincenzo Cianci of Liverpool, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
