Condolence to the McAndrew Family in the loss of Kay. Please take solace in knowing she was loved by many and will be greatly missed. As her neighbor for 20 years, I truly believe it was no accident she came into our lives to look after us and help us grow as a young family. She knew the neighborhood like the back of her hand and if anything seemed out of place she looked into it! She even called the police on my parents a few times when they stopped over unannounced in an unrecognizable vehicle. Throughout the years we shared a "half" beer or two while she told many stories about her siblings, children and grandchildren. It was often hard to keep track of all the things happening in her life but we did realize that despite her devotion to her kids, the grandkids reigned supreme! She would always crack up when she spoke of them growing taller than herself. Thanks for sharing the happy photo in the obituary as that is how we remember her; that beautiful smile! Thank you Kay for all the Irish stew and brownies you have made us over the years and most especially for the prayers for my family. Heaven got a great one there!
