Celia R. (Cerio) Stinziano, 102, passed away peacefully Thursday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late John and Josephine Cerio. As a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, her main devotion was to her family. Celia owned and operated Durston Real Estate for over 25 years.
In addition to her parents, Celia was predeceased by her husband Dominick H. in 1960, her three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children Francis (Donna) Stinziano Esq. of Syracuse, NY, Richard (Joan) Stinziano of Naples, FL, Dr. Gerald Stinziano of Amherst, NY, and John (Diane) Stinziano Esq. of Naples, FL; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Celia's family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to her caregivers: Michelle McNally, Diane Ficarro, and Dale Husnay for their several years of loving care.
A memorial celebration of Celia's life will be held on Monday at 11:30 am at Missio Church, 620 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. A private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
