Charles J. Carulli's Obituary
Charles J. Carulli, 84, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born in Syracuse to the late Frank and Beulah (Provo) Carulli and served in the U.S. Airforce from 1951- 1955. He was an owner and operator of Carulli’s Custom Furniture for over 50 years before retiring in 2001. Charles was a member of the John Venditti Post and Pastime Athletic Club; he also enjoyed bowling, dancing, and spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Charles is also predeceased by his brother, Frank L. Carulli.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Angela B. (Cesta) Carulli; a son, Charles F. (Judy) Carulli; two daughters, Patricia A. (David) Wojcik and Angela M. Carulli; four grandchildren, Nicholas Carulli, Marissa Wojcik, Abigail Carulli and Cameron Wojcik; four great-grandchildren, Bradley, Roxanne, Alexis and Mackenzie; two sisters, Josephine (Chester) DiBello and Joyce (Wayne) Murfitt; a sister-in-law, Sheila Carulli; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 8 am on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Charles’ life at 9 am at St. Daniel Church, Syracuse. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.), North Syracuse, NY.
