Charles P. Farnett's Obituary
Charles P. Farnett, 96, of Syracuse passed away Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital. A life resident, he was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Mr. Farnett was a former member of the Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Pompei, one of the founding members of the Pompei Spaghetti Supper, and active with the production of the Pompeian Players. His wife Sue passed away in 1998. Mr. Farnett owned and operated Marino's Italian Style Sausage Co. for 27 years before his retirement. Surviving are: 2 Children Joseph C. Farnett, of Camillus and Mary Anne (Claude) Pilon, of Fayetteville. 5 Grandchildren: Christopher (Agneta) Farnett , Robin Farnett Stannard, Angela (Tom) Monty ,Suzanne(Michael) Connelly and Michael (Ila) Pilon. 9 Grandchildren: Jessica, Justin, Joseph, Paul, Jacob, Noah, Logan, Jack, and Ryan. A Sister: Annetta DeSocio, of Az. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:15AM Tuesday in the Family Funeral Chapel and at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Pompei - St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3401 Vickery Rd. North Syracuse Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Pompei Church.
