Christa Ann Eallonardo's Obituary
Christa Ann Eallonardo, 45, of Pooler Georgia, loving daughter of John and Ann Marie Eallonardo passed away on December 20, 2022 prior to a much anticipated holiday visit with her family in Liverpool NY. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from Liverpool High School and SUNY Geneseo. She received her master’s degree at SUNY Oswego. Christa worked as a Guidance Counselor for the Arkport N.Y. School District, Bishop Grimes Jr. High, the Liverpool N.Y. Central School District, Chatham County School District and currently for the Godley Station School in Savannah, GA. She was an avid reader, photographer, movie enthusiast, and accomplished crocheter. She also loved nature and was an adventurer who enjoyed hiking and camping, especially at the Grimaldi Hinckley Camp. Christa was an advocate of the disabled and disadvantaged, especially children, and was a lover of all Gods creations.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Bernice and Kenneth Lowell; paternal grandparents, Theresa and Carmen Eallonardo; two uncles, Norman and Charles Eallonardo; her aunt, SR. Gratia Eallonardo and great uncle, John Fitzgerald.
In addition to her parents, Christa is survived by her brother, JC (Nicole) Eallonardo; a beautiful niece and nephew; Uncle Joel and Aunt Denise Grimaldi; Uncle Tom and Aunt Kathy Lowell; Uncle George and Aunt Carmen Fitzgerald, Uncle Fred Eallonardo; Aunt’s Euphy and Terry Eallonardo; her Great Aunt, Joan Fitzgerald; many loving cousins and special friends including the staff of Godley Station School and other Chatham County Schools and Widget, her bundle of rescued canine energy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 9:45 am – 10:45 am at Epiphany Parish at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool, NY, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Christa’s life at 11:00 am at the church. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum, Baldwinsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christa’s memory may be made to In My Fathers Kitchen, Friends of Beaver Lake Nature Center, Helping Hounds Dog Rescue and Francis House.
