Christina N. (Cerrone) Verzino's Obituary
Christina N. (Cerrone) Verzino, 88, of Minoa, NY, passed away September 11, 2019 at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John and Rose (Enzerillo) Cerrone. Christina worked at Syracuse China for many years. She loved cooking for family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Verzino in 1995 and her brother, Nicholas Cerrone.
Christina is survived by three children, Joseph (Cindy) Verzino, Marlene (David) Celi and Toni Marie (Gerry) Yacoboni; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Jared), Nicole (David), Gerry, Michael (Christie), Stephanie and Samantha; four great-grandchildren; her brother, John (Suzanne) Cerrone; sister-in-law, Florence Cerrone; brother-in-law, Frank Verzino, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00 – 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs Rd., Fayetteville, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Christina’s life at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
