Christine (Helstein) Nicita, 70, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday at Community General Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and was employed with Price Chopper in western lights for several years. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Nicita in 2002. Christine is survived by her 2 sons, Robert J. (Denise) Nicita of Baldwinsville and Edward C. Christine is survived by her 2 sons, Robert J. (Denise) Nicita of Pennellville and Edward C. (Jamie) Nicita of Scriba; 2 daughters, Fawn T. Nicita of Camillus and RoseMarie Nicita of Syracuse; 6 grandchildren, James and Nicholas Bogardus, Alyssa Nicita, Joseph Pelin, Zachary and Alexander Nicita; 2 brothers, Charles and Joseph Helstein; a sister, Bernadette Bachman; sister-in-law, Tina Helstein and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Charles of Borromeo Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J.
