Christine "Tina" Nicotra's Obituary
Christine "Tina" (Laddio) Nicotra, 83, of Syracuse passed away Saturday at Rosewood Heights. She was born in Solvay, the daughter of James Laddio and Rose (Stevens) Laddio. Tina was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and was self employed most of her life. She was a beautician for over 25 years, owning and operating "Tina's Salon DeBeaut". Tina's other passion was antiques, she was an avid antique dealer for over 25 years, owning and operating "Nice Twice Antiques". She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Nicotra in 1987 and her daughter, Denise Nicotra. She is survived by her son, Samuel F. (Kathie) Nicotra of Fayetteville; her sister, Theresa Sassin of Solvay; grandchildren, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her close friend Bill. Funeral services will be handled by THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends will be notified of a graveside service for Tina at a later date.
