Christopher Buell's Obituary
Christopher Buell, of Endicott, NY passed away on Monday, December 16th, 2024. Chris was born on May 22nd, 1975, in Buffalo, NY. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Rosina Buell, and his aunt, Dawn Coudriet. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Addison and Sydney; his former wife, Elizabeth Buell; his mother, Cindi Conway (husband Shawn/stepfather to Chris); brother, Ryan Conway (wife Jennifer); brother, Daniel Conway (wife Kimberly), and sister, Gabrielle Conway (fiancé Troy).
Chris moved to Monroe, Connecticut in early middle school and graduated from Masuk High School in 1993. He eventually settled in Liverpool, NY to be close to family. Chris had a talent for fitness and inspiring people to achieve their health goals. He passionately pursued a career in personal training in his 20s which he happily returned to later in life managing Planet Fitness in Vestal, NY. In between these years, Chris worked in the mail industry at IMS in Liverpool, NY becoming their go-to graphic designer, programming guru, color manager, and beloved boss and colleague. Chris’ interests were vast and varied due to his curious nature and zest for life: fitness, soccer, Yankees baseball, music, cars, cooking, house projects, animals, fishing, motorcycles, Otisco Lake days, BBQing, campfires and spending time with his kids.
As a friend remarked recently, “To know Chris, was to love him.” Growing up with his siblings, cousins, and countless friends, Chris was adored and universally loved. In marriage and fatherhood, through good and sometimes bad dad jokes, he lived with passion and loved openly.
Chris was the “funniest, most kind-hearted, genuine, sensitive, and endearing person.” He lit up every room he entered with his laughter and stories. Upon word of his passing his daughter Addison posted, “I lost my favorite human ever, my best friend, my first love, my source of laughter and the best dad I could’ve asked for.”
We will gather at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY on Saturday, December 28th, 2024. Calling hours will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM, with a service to follow at 12 PM. We welcome those who knew and loved Chris to join us in celebrating and remembering his life.
In lieu of flowers, Christopher’s family has set up a college fund for his children, Addison and Sydney Buell.
