I have not seen Cindy since our days at Hammondsport High School but I have many happy memories of time spent hanging out with her. She was infectively vivacious, fun to be with and had such magnetism! I'm sure she went on to charm the world. My sincere condolences to all her family. Cindy was the first person to befriend me at work when I moved into her area. And that's an understatement. She knocked me over with her smile and her kindness. I will never forget our first conversation -- not only did she put me at ease, when we were done talking, I felt like we had been friends forever. She had me laughing instantly, and made me feel so welcome, she busted right through my "walls". You could just feel the light of her soul when she spoke to you. She had such a beautiful smile, radiating spirit, and a gift for reaching out to those who needed it. And I don't know how she knew, but she did, and her timing was perfect. In the short time I had the pleasure of knowing her, she touched my soul, and made a huge difference - and because of her, I didn't feel alone. Her soul was a hundred times the size of her and she will live on forever in all of us and everyone else she touched because of that. Cindy made the world a better place - everyday.
