Cindy A. Caruso's Obituary
Cindy A. Caruso, 52, of Syracuse, passed away May 22, 2021 at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from Solvay High School. Cindy worked at Pomco and United Health for over 30 years. She was a NASCAR enthusiast, and enjoyed baking and spending time with family.
She is predeceased by her parents, Mary in 2012, Peter in 2020, and her ex-husband and best friend, Todd Voigt in 2016.
Cindy is survived by four siblings, Pam (John) Koagel, Rick (Sharon) Caruso, Steve (William) Murray-Caruso, and Rev. Daniel Caruso; nieces and nephews, Matthew Caruso, Nancy (Jason) Routson, Jonathan Koagel, and Jennifer Crowhurst; grand nieces and nephews, Adriana, Ethan, Giada, and Logan; former in-laws, Richard, and Linda Voigt; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. To attend the funeral mass remotely, please visit Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Facebook page at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Family and friends may call from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
