Cindy L. (Montroy) Phillips' Obituary
Cindy L. (Montroy) Phillips, 61, of North Syracuse, passed away at Loretto on February 18, 2019. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Clarence and Rose (Post) Montroy. Cindy was an LPN for over 30 years at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Cindy is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Steven R. Phillips; four daughters, Jessica (Rick) Cleveland of PA, Jennifer Phillips of NYC, Shannon (Samuel) Wright of FL., and Stephanie (Jonathon) Dewrell of NC; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Linda) Montroy and Brad Montroy; 4 sisters, Susan Rowley, Tracey Montroy, Shelly (Bruce) Allen and Pam (Joseph) Pawloski; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cindy was a dedicated committed woman to her family and friends. Cindy had many other loves to include games, cooking, cleaning and being the life of the party! She will be sorely missed!
Family and friends may call from 10 am – 12 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Cindy’s life at 1:00 pm at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. There will be a life celebration in her honor at the VFW, Post 7290, 105 Maxwell Ave., N. Syracuse immediately following the services.
