Was drinking my coffee outside today and for some reason Cy popped into my head… he was kindness personified… he was an amazing teacher, loyal friend and confidante to those who had the pleasure of knowing him 💜
Mr. Tantillo I made it to Italy!!! 🇮🇹 I know I was supposed to tell you about my time there but you were already gone before we could talk about it… I still miss you everyday! 💕

I was shocked and saddened on Sunday to hear that Mr. T. had passed away. My deepest condolences are with you all. My memories of Cy go back to our early days (over 50 years ago) on Harford Road; in Chemistry class at Hennninger where Mr. T. made learning fun with his wry sense of humor; and just a few years ago here in Italy where we shared a great meal together at a farmhouse in the Chianti hills. Cy always wore that warm smile, always stopped to ask how you were doing whenever you bumped into him, always calm, always with a friendly word. Cy surely will be missed. And he will always be remembered. God Bless.

Mr."T" was the best!! Loved him and what a great Chemistry teacher. He was very kind, very funny and always encouraging to students. One of the teachers that left a lasting impression on me. My sincerest sympathy to the family.

Phil, Nail and to the family, I'm so sorry to hear of about your dad. He was always a kind man to everyone and always brought a smile to everyone's face, young or old. I will always remember him sitting in his golf cart at Northern Pines greeting everyone as they came. He was like the Godfather of golf to everyone. He will be in our prayers.

Phil, Nail, and Monk,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. Thinking of him brought back so many memories of him and my Dad coaching down at Lemoyne Little League. It took me right back to watching all those games. Those used to be some fun times. Your Dad was always a great guy and so nice to be around. He will be missed. I hope all of you are well as you can be at this time. I have not seen any of you forever, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

What a great man! It was always with a smile and fondness that stories of Mr T were told at family get-togethers. He taught generations of GIlberti's. Cy touched many many lives - a great loss. Our hearts go out to his family.
