Clarence L. Richer III's Obituary
Clarence L. Richer III, 61, of East Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to the late Clarence Jr. and Grace (Garfield) Richer. Clarence worked as a contractor for Bristol- Meyers for 40 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and friends.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia (Wereley) Richer; his sons, Clarence “Bo” (Jen) Richer IV and Tom (Janel) Richer; his daughter, Tracy (Cliff) Hopkins; 5 grandchildren, CJ, Cameron, Adriana, Olivia, and Meghan; along with several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10 am- 12 pm immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Clarence’s life at 12 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
