Clarence "Bud" Walter's Obituary
Clarence “Bud” Walter, 3/10/29 – 12/22/21. Bud passed away peacefully in Florida. Bud lived most of her life in Fayetteville, NY, proudly graduating from Eastwood High School and raising his family in Syracuse. Bud was the Vice President of Edgcomb Metals/Mac Steel and President of the Stainless division, for over 50 years. Bud loved his family, friends, fig trees, singing, cooking, traveling, his house on Salt Springs Rd, and his yard and gardens. Bud was married to Anne Marie Walter for 70 years; they were avid Syracuse University football & basketball fans, and they attended Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, NY. Bud lived his final years with Anne Marie in their Vero Beach, FL home overlooking the ocean without his garden.
Clarence is predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Vincent Walter; grandson, Daniel Walter; his parents, Clarence and Rita Walter.
Clarence is survived by his daughter, Sue (Walter) McNichol and son, Charles Walter; grandchildren, Stephanie (Korzyp) Gaffney, Amy (Korzyp) Ranger and Christopher Walter; 2 great grandsons, Damien and Jason; 1 great granddaughter, Zoey.
A Memorial Service will be held for Bud along with his wife Anne Marie Walter of 70 years at noon on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Bud will then be laid to rest with his wife at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
Family and Friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 11am – 12 pm.
