Clementine (DeRose) Endieveri's Obituary
Clementine (DeRose) Endieveri, 92, passed away peacefully at home after a long struggle with ALZHEIMER’S disease. She was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and wintered many years in Vero Beach. Clementine was a homemaker well known for her pie baking. She loved to play piano, sing and dance; she also loved to play the slots whenever the opportunity arose. Clementine loved her family, friends and her good times.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Julia DeRose; her son, Sam James Crisella; her brother, Frank DeRose and sister, Josephine Lampasona.
Clementine was married to “Big” Sam Crisella for 49 years until his death. She was married to John Endieveri for 17 years until his passing.
Clementine is survived by her daughters, Joanne Crisella Wilson of Baldwinsville and Josephine (Gerd) Crisella Henjes of Citrus Hills, FL; four grandchildren, Michael (Alisa) Mertens, David (Larry) Woodland, Jacqueline (Jim) Mueller, and John (Cathy) Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Joseph Mertens, David Mertens, Renate Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Sammy Wilson and Jacob Mueller; two brothers, Louis (Mary) DeRose and Cosmo (Katey) DeRose; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We sincerely want to thank all her caregivers who made it possible for her to stay at home.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 11 am – 12 pm at St. Daniel’s Church, 3004 Court St., Syracuse, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Clementine’s life at 12:10 pm in St. Daniel’s Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
