Concetto J. "Connie" Milazzo's Obituary
Concetto J. “Connie” Milazzo, 83, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Santo and Ida (Vecchio) Milazzo. Connie was employed as a Food Distributor with Flickengers Inc. for over 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching Syracuse University and the Boston Red Sox. Connie was a traditional family man who always put his family first.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elaine (Falso) Milazzo in 2007; his brothers, Matthew, Stephen, and Joseph Milazzo, and his sister, Fannie Calogero.
Connie is survived by four children, Diane (Joseph) Bush of Redwood, NY; James Milazzo of Cicero, Kathy Milazzo of Liverpool, and Michael Milazzo of Liverpool; five grandchildren; two sisters, Frances (Louis) Grenga of Syracuse and Rosemary (Richard) Gallo of North Syracuse; three sisters-in-law, Barbara, Freida, and Gloria Milazzo; brother-in-law, Anthony Calogero, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Concetto’s life at 10:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
