My sincere condolences on Rick's passing. I met him when I took over as the program director for Keuka College's ASAP program that Rick was teaching in. We had many great discussions during the years that we were both there and I enjoyed getting to know him tremendously.

Rick and I attended and graduated the Regional Police Academy in 1974.He with OCSD and me with the Syracuse PD. Over the years of our careers when ever we intersected we would stop and converse to catch up on what was going on in each other’s lives. Truly one of the “ good guys”.

We were devastated to hear of our cousin Ricks passing. Sorry we weren’t there for his funeral we only heard about this today. Rick was a wonderful human being and i was so glad we were able to reconnect after so many years had passed. please know we are keeping all of you in our thoughts & prayers during this very difficult time.

With great sadness I learn of the passing of Ricky Cox. He was a great neighbor and friend. My heart goes out to Chris, Mike, Dan, and Jennifer. Watching them grow up in the Mercury Circle neighborhood was a true pleasure. I completely understand your sorrow and grief as I recently experienced it with the passing of my wife Pam.
