Constance "Connie" (Middleton) Albro's Obituary
Constance "Connie" (Middleton) Albro passed away peacefully November 1, 2022 due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Albro was born on September 23, 1941 in Syracuse, NY to her parents, Lloyd Middleton and Margaret Colwell Middleton (Dodge). Stepmother, Dorothy Middleton was near and dear to her heart. She graduated from Baldwinsville High School in 1959. She married Richard David Albro on October 10,1959. They resided in Bridgeport, NY with their four children. Connie stayed home to care for her young children for many years; she also worked part time at Dr. Kallet’s office in Bridgeport before her twenty-year career at Nationwide Insurance. She retired in 2003 when she and Richard split their time between their home on the St. Lawrence River and in Englewood, FL. Connie spent her time in New York swimming, gardening and boating with friends. While in Florida Connie volunteered regularly at their local church, Englewood Methodist Church, and community events but most of all she loved going to the beach whenever she wanted.
Mrs. Albro is survived by two sons, Michael Albro and Christopher Albro, and two daughters, Kelly Albro and Jennifer Muhle. Connie has seven grandchildren: Dalton Stafford, Eric Albro, Kelcie Albro, Robert Hill, Sam Hill, Tessa Muhle, and Bauer Muhle, as well as one great grandchild, Rayne Stafford. Connie is also survived by her beloved siblings, Jim Middleton (wife) Kathy Middleton, Patty Middleton, Laurie Middleton, Steven King and Howard Middleton.
Mrs. Albro will be buried beside her husband in late spring at Union Hill Cemetery in Cato, NY. A memorial service will take place at that time. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Albro's life.
In lieu of flowers, and to celebrate the love Connie received from her dogs, please donate to the Humane Society of America at the www.humanesociety.org.
