Constance M. “Connie” (DeStefano) Delia, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Mathew and Louise DeStefano.
Connie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and one of the most selfless people you could know. Her favorite times included cooking for, spending time with, and taking care of her family. Connie unconditionally shared her love with everyone and always found the good in everyone she met. She also loved her job and family at Photography by Fernando and especially liked the work she did with the special education students she worked with at local Dewitt schools.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank R. Delia; brother, James DeStefano and sister-in-law; Irene; her sister-in-law; Ann Delia, and brother-in-law; Joseph Caccamo; along with her pets; Benji and Buddy.
Connie is survived by her five children; Delia Delia (Bob Kaplus), Cheryl Delia, Jeanne (Phillip) Ruffini, Jaki Delia (Jose Figueiredo), Maria Delia, and Frank J. (Kristina) Delia; her six grandchildren; Joseph (Kelly) Buberl, Lauren (Jack) Mack, Phillip Ruffini, David Stewart, Maci Stewart, and Mia Stewart; two great-grandsons, Wesley and Frankie Mack; her brother, Patrick DeStefano; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
