Corrado Ferrara's Obituary
Corrado Ferrara, 89, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospital. He was born in Sicily, Italy, son of the late Vincenzo and Concetta (Morgana) Ferrara. Corrado was a Machinist-Foreman at Crouse Hinds, retiring after 30 dedicated years. He enjoyed boxing matches, gardening, homemade wine, and a good meal. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his five brothers and two sisters.
Corrado is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Grace (Civello) Ferrara; three children, Vincent Ferrara (Cher), Angelo Ferrara (Tammy Jo Hughes) and Tina Ferrara (Tom Smith); three grandchildren, Mathias and Vandyn Ferrara, and Grace Gifford, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Corrado’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 10:30 am in Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Rd., Liverpool, NY. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
