Cory J. Foley's Obituary
Cory J. Foley, 28, of Clinton, NY, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 unexpectedly due to an automobile accident . He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School in 2003. Cory received his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica. He was currently working on a program as well as applied for a Master's of Science in Network and Computer Security at SUNY Institute of Technology. Cory was currently working as a Security Researcher at Northrop Grumman. He loved being outdoors and was an avid runner. He also enjoyed snowboarding and camping with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Lewis "Bompie" Loscombe in 1994 and his uncle, Justin Foley in 1986. Cory is survived by his parents, Roy and Linda (Loscombe) Foley of North Syracuse; his siblings, Lyndsay Foley of North Syracuse, Jeffrey (Megan) Foley of New Hartford, NY and Kathleen Martin of Albany; paternal grandparents, Roy A. (Joan) Foley of North Syracuse; maternal grandmother, Phyllis (Janes) Loscombe of North Syracuse; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dog, Chloe.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at Noon in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
