Cosmo S. D'Arrigo's Obituary
Cosmo S. D’Arrigo, 97, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2025. Born in Syracuse, son of the late Gaetano and Josephine (Timilione) D’Arrigo, Cosmo was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He then became a route salesman for Frito-Lay for many dedicated years until his retirement.
Along with his parents, Cosmo is predeceased by his wife, Ida, in 2022, and several siblings.
He is survived by three sons: Mark (Cindy) D’Arrigo, David D’Arrigo and Anthony D’Arrigo; three grandchildren: Vincent (Rachel), Jordianna, and Anna; his sister, Grace Healy; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Cosmo’s life at 10:00 A.M. in St. Daniel’s Church, 3004 Court St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
