Craig A. Peets, 68, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Massena, NY to the late Glenn and Helen (Bertrand) Peets and attended Massena High School and was also a Read Obituary
My sincere condolences to Craig's family. We grew up in the same neighborhood, played music and a few gig's in a garage band, experienced summer haying on the family farm, swimming in the river and hanging around the "The Raquette" with our friends and bicycles. Craig was a good friend always. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
I am David Guertin. I ride shared with Craig for three years as we both worked as Advanced Manufacturing Engineers for New York Air Brake.Craig taught me very much about how things worked at NYAB. I was very experienced as an Engineer, but every Company is different and Craig helped me quickly get comfortable at New York Air Brake.
During our time riding and working together Craig and I became good Friends. We are about the same age and we retired about the same time. I am also from Massena and my Brother still lives about a mile and 1/2 from where Craig grew up near South Grasse River Road.He was a very good Friend and I felt bad that I was not able to see him the past couple of years. Every time I tried to get together with Him - he would tell me it was not a good time because of his health and he asked me w to wait. He was a very good man and he is definitely in Heaven. We will all miss him and remember him as a very nice, smart, kind and descent person.
My Condolences to Craig's family. Being friends since elementary school, having fun on the farm, he will be missed.
I've only known Craig for the past 5 years, since he began to volunteer at Oasis. He was a fun guy to have around, and very friendly and helpful. He would take the initiative to improve upon systems in place or create new ones. Because of that he made it onto our Leadership Team and helped to train our new volunteers.
The last time he volunteered I had a really nice talk with him and I'm grateful for that.
We were very lucky to have him and so so sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Craig. We will miss you.

May you rest in peace, Craig. Although we didn't see much of each other in recent years, when the family got together, I always looked forward to seeing you. You were just a great guy who enjoyed the good things in life, and never bothered anyone. You always had a smile and a joke for everyone. Your sense of humor reminded me of my father, as did your smile. You didn't deserve to be sick. I pray that you're at peace now out on the water with your fishing pole and your boat. You'll be missed more than you know.
