Cynthia Ann Briggs' Obituary
Cynthia Ann (Laws) Briggs, 50, went to be with the Lord on Thursday at the Francis House. Born in Syracuse, she attended West Genesee High School and graduated from BOCES as an L.P.N. Before becoming ill, Cynthia worked at Rite Aid for over four years. She loved playing softball her whole life and was an avid SU fan. She was predeceased by her father, Richard K. Laws Sr., brother, Douglas Laws and grandson, Caleb Ryan Briggs. Cynthia is survived by her sons, John Paul Dias, Jesse Briggs, and Jimmy Briggs; four grandchildren; her parents, Stephen and Joyce Prosonic; sisters, Stephanie, Sharon, Michelle and Lynette; brothers, Rick, Stephen, John and David; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:30 pm with funeral services immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cindy's memory may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michael's Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
