Cynthia A. "Cindy" Cunningham's Obituary
Cynthia A. “Cindy” Cunningham, 64, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 1, 2021, surrounded by loving family. Born on November 17, 1956, in The Bronx, NY, daughter of the late James W. and Margaret (Kraus) Cunningham; she spent most of her life living in the Syracuse area. Cindy was the kind of mother and grandmother anyone would be blessed to have. She made it a point to attend all of her children’s events and was always their biggest cheerleader. She was retired from NYSDOT and especially enjoyed time at camp with her friends during the warmer months. Cindy loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Kelly Seubert in 2017. Cindy is survived by her children, Henry Kazmirski, James Kazmirski, Paul Lukacs and Michael Lukacs, all of Syracuse; grandchildren, Alex, Addison, Caroline, and Ian; siblings, Patti (Anton) Simon of Buffalo, Timothy Cunningham of Buffalo, Karen (Allen) Myers of Syracuse and James (Melodie) Cunningham of Syracuse, and many cherished nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 6, 2021, from 4 -7 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral mass in celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 10 am at Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St., Syracuse, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt, NY.
