Cynthia M. Metzger's Obituary
Cynthia M. (Tankersley) Metzger, 67, of North Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Washington D.C. and worked as a claims adjuster for CNA Insurance in Syracuse, retiring after 30 dedicated years. Cynthia loved horse racing, photography, gardening, reading, and most of all, spending time with her son.
She was predeceased by her sister, Katherine Wossner.
Cynthia is survived by her son, Andrew Metzger; parents, Charles, and Tonia (Iquinta) Tankersley; 4 siblings, Michael (Ann), David (Barb), Susan (Chad), and Nancy (Joe); along with several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services were entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. She was laid to rest in North Syracuse Cemetery.
