D. Marie Eber's Obituary
D. Marie Eber, 84, of Liverpool, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Edric R. and Catherine (Bushell) Chaffee. Marie was an executive secretary with Smith Corona for many years. She was a volunteer with VP Craven Crawford PTA from 1974 to 1978 and received Bayberry Community Citizen of the year in 1978.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Louis O. Eber; her son, James W. (Gordon Parkhurst) Eber and her daughter, Ellen M. Eber; four nephews, Mark (Kathe) Chaffee, Kevin (Paula) Chaffee, Gary (Mary) Dailey, Jay (Darlene) Dailey and her two nieces, Mary Kay Chaffee (Jack) Miller and Dr. Nancy (Patrick Shields) Dailey.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:00 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090 or to ones favorite charity.
