Dale R. Rinker's Obituary
Dale R. Rinker, 72, of Lyncourt, passed away at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Dale was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. He retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and also worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Dale loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ray A. Rinker, Sr., and Ethel (Metcalf) Rinker, and his brother, Ray A. Rinker, Jr.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, MaryAnne (Mirizio) Rinker; his son, Dale Rinker; his daughter, Dana Rinker; step-children, Tracie (John) Phillips, Laurie Bosco, and Michael Poppe; six grandchildren, Darr, Bailee, Christopher, Grace, Melina and Elaine; his sister, Barbara (Jim) Jones; his brother, John (Linda) Rinker; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Dale’s life at 9:00 am at St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
