Dalia Lupone's Obituary
Dalia Lupone, 63, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2019. Dalia was born in Cervaro, Italy and as a child, immigrated with her family to Montreal, Canada. At the age of 21, Dalia married a U.S. Citizen and moved to Syracuse. She worked as a Legal Assistant for Mentor Law Firm.
Dalia was the Original Fashionista. She loved her 5-inch heels, sparkly dresses, glittery jewelry, amazing purses and keeping up with the latest trends which always looked fabulous on her. Her home was her sanctuary full of framed pictures of her loved ones, lovely crystal pieces and the makings of her famous cheesecake which family and friends begged her to bake for every gathering.
Dalia always put her family and friends first above her own needs and she did the same up to the very end. Her patience and acceptance of every person who crossed her path was Dalia’s greatest asset. Her presence enriched people’s lives and her passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Dalia was predeceased by her parents, Luigi and Antonia D’Aguanno, and her brother, Raphael.
Dalia is survived by her son, Daniel Lupone; her grandson, Daniel; her sister, Anna D’Aguanno and husband, Antonio Barios; her niece and goddaughter, Michelle; her nephew, Matthew and best friends, John Arcaro, Stacey and John DiLauro.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Dalia’s life at 10:00 am in Assumption Church.
