Daniel Luiz Ignacio's Obituary
Daniel Luiz Ignacio, 43, of Whitesboro, NY, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2026. He was born on February 25, 1983, in Syracuse, NY, to Sebastian and Mona Ignacio. Daniel was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son and brother. He united in marriage to his beloved wife, Kristen Ignacio on August 24, 2024, beginning a chapter filled with love and commitment. He was a devoted and deeply involved father who always put his family before himself.
Daniel was known for bringing people together, especially as the heart of Sunday family dinners and summer pool parties. His warmth, laughter and ability to make everyone feel at home created lasting memories for all who knew him.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Daniel established his own painting business (Louie’s
Painting) in loving memory of his father. He was also a youth basketball and soccer coach. His passion and dedication inspired many along the years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luiz Ignacio and his brother-in-law, Justin Knaperek.
Daniel is survived by his beautiful wife, Kristen Ignacio (Jordan, Jada, Aniyah) and his two amazing children, Amari and Jaelen; his mother, Mona Ignacio; his brothers, Christopher (Jenn, Novi, Sebastian) and Tyler (Diana, Nyla, Amaya).
Daniel will be remembered for his love of family, his hard work and the impact he had on everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on through his children and the lives he touched.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 12 pm – 2 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Daniel’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
