Daniel J. Sullivan's Obituary
Daniel J. “Dan” Sullivan, 78, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Middle Village, Queens, NY, to the late John and Mary (Cohara) Sullivan, Dan dedicated many years to his career as a Premium Audit Manager at Traveler’s Insurance.
Dan deeply loved his wife, Marie, with whom he shared over 56 wonderful years. He enjoyed traveling with family and treasured family gatherings. A lifelong fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants, Dan’s passion for sports was well-known.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Margaret Sullivan, John Sullivan, Frances Cook, Dorothy Mohre, and Mary Jensen, Dan leaves behind his beloved wife, Marie (Rozycki) Sullivan; his children, Greg (Cheryl) Sullivan and Sue (Bill) Griep; his grandchildren, Sami and Kylie; his brother, Thomas Sullivan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan’s family will forever remember him for his boundless love and unwavering support. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral services. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
