Darlene H. (Perry) Retchless' Obituary
Darlene H. (Perry) Retchless, 81, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Bishop Nursing and Rehab. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Mantor) Perry, Darlene was a teacher with the Baldwinsville Central School District for over 30 years. Most importantly, Darlene was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Rebecca.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Debbie.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Retchless; brothers, Gordon (Sherry) Perry, and Richard Perry; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Enola’s life at 11:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Darlene’s name may be made to the Vera House, Inc., 723 James St. Syracuse, NY 13203.
