David M. Barnhart's Obituary
David M. Barnhart, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 1, 2022. Born to the late Gerald T. and Beatrice (Way) Barnhart, he was a life resident of Syracuse. David was a 1993 graduate of F.M. High School and later went on to Oswego State University. He enjoyed fishing, loved animals, and especially enjoyed vacationing with his sister Cathy and her boys. David also enjoyed cooking and was a chef at several local establishments.
David is survived by his sisters, Dawn Barnhart, Cathern Barnhart, and Victoria Augustyne; a brother, Edward D. Augustyne; beloved nephews, Austin, and Jordan Robinson; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. A funeral service in celebration of David’s life will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
