David R. Dunn's Obituary
David Richard Dunn, 84, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. He was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph Dunn and Marjorie (Abel) Dunn on June 27, 1931.
David retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation in 1992 after over 41 years of service. He established the Printing Department where he was supervisor for almost 30 years. David was an avid fisherman, boater, and loved to golf.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph and sister, Joanne Easton.
David is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Corrine Lois (Watson) Dunn; his sons, David M. (Geraldine), Steven M. (Diane), and daughter, Nancy A. (William) Schuetz; grandchildren, Amy, Erin, Steven, Christopher, Kelly and Katie, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of David’s life at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool. Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
