David Iorio's Obituary
David Iorio has upgraded his winning vouchers to Heavens Casino. On Nov. 26, 2022, he put his chips all in and his Heavenly Dealer handed him keys to his mansion in Heaven. David absolutely adored his family. He will be missed by them all. David was the first born and only son born on Sept. 2, 1954 to Mary Lorini and Armand Iorio. David worked at Grimaldi's and D's restaurants along with St. Joseph's and Upstate Hospitals and shared his love of life with all he encountered along the way. David enjoyed trips to the casinos as well as playing any and all lottery games. He would not let winning deter his playing! David wanted to be part of family gatherings, celebrations and any kind of card playing and game of chance. David was proud of his Italian heritage and over the years enjoyed when family would visit from Italy as well as feasting on homemade ethnic food at every celebration. David was a passionate Elvis fan and collected a variety of items over his lifetime. If an Elvis song came on, David was sure to join in like it was no body's business. David enjoyed playing pool and could hold his own whenever he played. He would become energized when joining in conversations involving any topic he was interested in. David was always sure to wish each person a goodbye and an "I Love You" when visiting ended. His sincerity in these wishes endeared him to all.
David was predeceased by his father, Armand, along with maternal and paternal grandparents.
David is survived by his mother, Mary; sisters, Marianne Spak, Jeanne (Gina), (Ed) Longden; niece, Gabriella Longden; nephews, Mike (Nicole) Spak, Nicholas Longden, great nieces and nephew and numerous cousins.
