David R. Kaljeskie's Obituary
David R. Kaljeskie, 66, of Cicero, passed away at the VA Medical Center on Sunday, February 8, 2015. David was born in Syracuse and graduated from Liverpool High School. He went on to serve with the U.S. Navy. David was a member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. He was an Insurance Salesman for over 30 years, before retiring from Modern Woodmen of America.
He was predeceased by his mother, Eileen (Bishop) Kaljeskie and his brother, Gary Kaljeskie.
David is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susan (Tassone) Kaljeskie; his two daughters, Lisa (Steven) Schlegel of Liverpool and Pamela (Christopher) Heckman of Cicero ; his father, Robert Kaljeskie of Syracuse; six grandchildren, one sister, two step-brothers, one step-sister, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of David’s life at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
