David C. LaCelle's Obituary
David C. LaCelle, 57, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Liverpool High School. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years. David was also a skilled chef who worked in various local restaurants. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and cooking, although his passion in life was spending time with his loving children and grandson.
He was predeceased by his mother, Bertha L. (Pinkham) LaCelle; his son, David J. LaCelle and three siblings.
David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie (Gratien) LaCelle; three children, Jessica LaCelle of Syracuse, Rachel LaCelle of Syracuse, and Joseph LaCelle of Bridgeport; his grandson, Jeremiah LaCelle; his father, James (Dottie) LaCelle of Richland, NY; along with many nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. And also Kitty and Gigi LaCelle
A funeral mass in celebration of David’s life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt. Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
