David Anthony Nappa's Obituary
David Anthony Nappa passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at home with his loving family by his side. He was 73. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., to the late Francis and Vincintina (Cardarelli) Nappa. He was a resident of Langhorne since 1993. David served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963. He was employed by Bristol-Myers/Squibb for 30 years. He was an active member in his church, and served on the board of Christian Life Center for more than 20 years; he also served on the board of Valley Forge University. He loved to fish with his brothers, sons, and nephews; and most of all David loved to spend time with his family.
David is survived by his loving wife, Esther (Maccarone) Nappa; his daughter, Lisa Ganey (Kevin) of Yardley; his son, David Nappa, Jr. (Audrey) of Newtown; his grandchildren, Keli and Dylan Ganey, Hannah and Katherine Nappa, and Julia Lewis; and his siblings, Jon Nappa (Carol) of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Frank Nappa Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y., Daniel Nappa (Rita Anne) of North Syracuse, N.Y., Matt Nappa (Jean) of Liverpool, N.Y., and Linda Montgomery (Carl) of Syracuse, N.Y.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. His funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, at Christian Life Center. His interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
