David S. Puglia's Obituary
David S. Puglia, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Loretto. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Vito and Alexandra (Cappucio) Puglia. David served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. David was self-employed in the Syracuse area for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose (Russo) Puglia in 2002; his parents and five siblings. David is survived by four sons, David V. (Barbara) Puglia of Syracuse; Ray J. Puglia of Bridgeport; John Puglia of Hamilton, NY and James Puglia of Syracuse; two daughters, Alexis Vaughn of Baldwinsville and Tina Puglia of Florida; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
