David Woodman Slater's Obituary
David Woodman Slater, 64, of Skaneateles, suffered a stroke at home on Sunday, June 30th, while playing with his beloved dog Truffle. He passed away three days later.
David was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, and was a graduate of Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY. He owned and operated Precision Parts Network, LLC. David cherished his many friendships, especially his lifelong brothers from the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity at Clarkson. His father Douglas predeceases him.
David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon, his two sons, Robert and Michael, and his mother, Sylvia of Fayetteville. He loved his family, and recently welcomed his two new daughters, Robert's wife Katie and Michael's fiancé Stephanie.
A funeral service will be held at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday, July 9th, at 11:00 am. Calling hours will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, July 8th, from 4:00-7:00 pm.
