Deborah M. (Jonick) Giocondo's Obituary
Deborah M. (Jonick) Giocondo, 50, of Brewerton, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School in 1984. Debbie had a successful 32 year career with MONY/AXA Life Insurance Company. Her current position as Senior Case Manager made her an anchor in the CSG team. Debbie was very knowledgeable within the insurance industry and a great mentor to all of her coworkers. She enjoyed her role and its challenges and will be missed dearly by her AXA family. Debbie loved animals, crafts, baking, home decorating, and she was an avid reader. Her family was her joy in life! She loved family gatherings, especially Christmas which was her favorite.
Debbie is survived by her son, Geoffrey Giocondo; her daughter, Gianna Giocondo; her fiancé, Robert J. Christian; parents Brenda and Robert T. Jonick; a sister, Robyn Jonick, and her beloved dog, Dora and cats Kobe and Cooper.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM --7:00 PM at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Funeral services and burial will be private.
