Deborah C. Morgan's Obituary
Deborah C. Morgan, 57, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Debbie fought a courageous, 5-year battle against PAH and NASH. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, Debbie graduated from Henninger High School in 1981. She was employed at MONY Financial, Amica Mutual Insurance Co. and Farmers & Traders Life Insurance Co. Debbie enjoyed gardening, crafts, bowling, playing slot machines in Atlantic City, solving puzzles, and bird-watching, especially her favorite, the hawk. Above all, Debbie loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her moments as a baseball and softball wife and mom.
Debbie is predeceased by her mother, Ellie Corbin in 2004 and father, Jack Corbin in 2006.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James M. Morgan of Liverpool; her son, James J.T. Morgan of Liverpool; her daughter, Ashley M. Morgan of Buffalo; grandmother, Bernice Brunell of Onondaga; sister, Cindi Corbin (Walter Smith) of Eastwood; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in-laws.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a full and complete memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. A private funeral mass will take place for immediate family and will be available to view remotely on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 9 am at www.stdaniel.com. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family would like to recognize to compassionate and loving care of the pulmonary department at Strong Memorial Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic Transplant Department and the North Medical Branch of Lab Alliance.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debbie’s name may be made to St. Daniel Church, 3004 Court St. Syracuse, NY 13208.
