Deborah "Debbie" Mulpagano's Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” Mulpagano, 69, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was born in Washington D.C. to the late William and Jean (Abend) Kompf and worked for over 35 years as an animal lab technician for Upstate Medical Center, she loved all animals, especially dogs. The perpetual busybody, she was always fixing something around the house or sewing a new costume for a family member or friend; Debbie was a very talented seamstress and even made her own wedding dress. She also took a lot of joy in dancing and tending to her garden.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Kompf.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John Mulpagano; her children, Matt (Tammy) Mulpagano and Krista Mulpagano (Dr. Chris Turner); her grandchildren, Alexandra and Madison; her cousin, Patty Weber; along with several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. (noon) followed by a funeral service in celebration of Debbie’s life at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
