Delores N. (Vaccaro) Davies' Obituary
Delores N. (Vaccaro) Davies, 92, of Syracuse, passed away October 15, 2024, at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John and Fannie (Rota) Vaccaro. Delores retired from General Electric after many dedicated years. She was an avid Yankee’s fan. Delores loved her family very much and looked forward to cooking meatballs for them every Sunday.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Davies in 1982; her sister, Agnes Bonura in 2021 and brother, James Vaccaro in 2023.
Delores is survived by her daughter, Denise (Richard) Kadlubowski; two sons, Daniel (Audrey) Davies and William (Amy) Davies; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her brother Nick (Ann) Vaccaro; her sister-in-law, Gerry Vaccaro, along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Delores’ life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
