Delores M. D'Onofrio's Obituary
Delores M. D’Onofrio, 82, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2012 at Iroquois Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Oneida, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret Klink of Baldwinsville.
Delores was married for 48 years to Dominick who predeceased her in August of 1997. She worked for Wilson Jewelers for 20 years.
She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Tina Marie Salatti and
her brother, Kenneth Klink.
Delores is survived by her five children, Karen D’Onofrio of North Syracuse, Donna (Mony) Ayoub of Albany, Daniel (AnneMarie) D'Onofrio, Nicholas D’Onofrio of Florida and Lori (Paul) Joynt of North Syracuse; her grandchildren, Jodi and Lisa Salatti, Thomas (Ali) and Christina Witz, Daniel, Derek and Maria (Christian) Whiteway, Nicholas D’Onofrio, Sara (Adam) Szymanski and PJ-Paul Joynt; great-grandchildren, Katie and (JT) John Thomas Witz and Dominick D’Onofrio added to her abundant family. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanne Nardozzi (Anthony) of Arizona and a loving niece, Bonnie (Ernest) Sexton and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse. A final tribute will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum with prayers led by Father Lou Aiello where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
